Tips For Booking a Limo
Know what you're paying for.
Make sure you know whether or not the services you need can be provided.
Does the company:
- require booking a minimum amount of hours?
- only drive point to point and charge extra for additional drop-off and pick-up points?
- will they go outside the city?
- are there additional charges for splitting time (for example: two hours now, one hour later)?
See the vehicle with your own eyes.
Some other limousine services are simply middlemen between the client and the limousine driver. Just because they say they can book a time and will take a deposit doesn't mean they have the ability to deliver what they're promising. Check to see if the company actually owns the vehicle they're renting. Make sure you get to see the vehicle with your own eyes and...
...Talk to the owner.
Ultimately the owner is the one who has experience in knowing what previous clients have wanted. They are the ones who have the answers to your questions and sometimes even answers to questions you hadn't thought to ask but will definately want to know.
What about the rules?
Before you finalize your details find out your service's rules.
- Do they allow smoking, food, beverages (alcoholic or otherwise) and/or gum in their vehicle?
- Are there passenger limits?
- What about the sunroof?
- What happens in the case of a change in itinerary or cancellations?
- What about deposits? (When, how much, and are they refundable?)
- Will I get a copy of the contract?
